An old project done during my Level 1 of LASALLE Communication Design in 2009. 

 

Brief: To create a logo for an unconventional members' club.

 

'Maiden Red' is a club for Hells Angels ladies who enjoy playing chess. This logo is inspired by the iron-on patches on the leather jacket of the biker. With a die-cut stencil, the logo was done by silkscreening on felt. Iron-on adhesive was added on at the back of the felt.

 

The original (and perfect) patches were given to the school for a pop-up store. It was unfortunate that photographs were not taken then. Therefore, the remaining patches were done during the process with some mistakes.
